Join tutor Joanne for this fabulous one day workshop - Learn how to felt and create your next hat - cloche, concertina or small brimmed hat. Wet felting can't be rushed, so enjoy this slow-paced workshop while you learn the techniques to create your own unique hat. Participants leave the workshop with not only a hat and brooch, but are equipped with the skills, knowledge and necessary equipment to continue with the art of wet felting at home.
All materials and lunch are included. Additional leather trims for hat bands will be available for purchase on the day. You need to bring 2 x towels for mopping up excess water.
Joanne Barr is a Milliner and farmer based in Currabubula and has a studio near Walcha NSW. Jo has been making hats for over 18 years and has been creating wet felt hats for 5 years.
