A great way to learn to knit or to try some new stitches, this soft cover book contains 13 knitting projects that can be used as dishcloths or facecloths.
Please Note: All the makes in this book are knitted in 4ply/fingering weight cotton. Each pattern has stitch repeat information so you can convert to a thicker yarn such as a 10ply.
If you want to match this book with some yarn in a 10ply, have a look at the Fiddlesticks Finch cotton for lovely soft facecloths or maybe the Lily Sugar ‘n Cream for cotton dishcloths. Use 4.5mm or 5mm knitting needles and cast on less stitches if using a 10ply.

Express your colourful side! The patterns in Geometric Knit Blankets are inspired by quilts, tiles and other colour block designs. Every blanket is a stunning feast for the eyes, and all are for the intermediate knitter or confident beginner. Knit them as shown or choose colours you love best or that work with your decor.
The construction of each blanket is fully and beautifully illustrated, and the techniques used to make each item are clearly listed so you know what is involved. Many blankets offer two methods of construction, so you can choose to knit with techniques you favour. The blankets feature an abundance of different geometric shapes: squares, rectangles, triangles, diamonds, hexagons and circles. The individual blocks for a given blanket can also be rearranged to make additional designs.

With these Fiori blockers, you can dry your socks after washing. Blocking your socks is entirely optional but it's good to it for two reasons: During the first wash fibers relax and the fabric becomes softer and even. Blocking also gives the knit it's form and opens up the stitch pattern so that it does not look like a wrinkly mess.
Made from 4 mm plywood. Sanded front, back, and edges. Blockers are not varnished so you can paint or varnish them as you want. The 6 sizes are based on real-sized examples of handmade knitted socks and are tailored to shoe sizes.
